Description:
The Accredited System Engineer (ASE) certification from HP Certification was established in 2001. This Accredited System Engineer (ASE) certification is aimed at students who are currently employed in the Enterprise Network environments. This Accredited System Engineer (ASE) certification is also for students who aspire to find employment in this environment and wants to obtain the Accredited System Engineer (ASE) certification.
The student who passes the Accredited System Engineer certification will certify that a successful Accredited System Engineer has learnt the knowledge needed to:-
· Design
· Support and integrate platform
· Operating system
· Storage as well as
· The network and option components to solve business needs.
The successful Accredited System Engineer certified student will have knowledge of the hands-on integration and support of technical solutions in complex, enterprise class environments.
These are all fields in the Enterprise Network environments. The Accredited System Engineer certification is only available to students who have 6 to 12 months experience. The students should have experience in the design, support and integrate platform, operating system, storage as well as the network and option components to solve business needs.
Required Exams:
The student who wants to obtain the ASE certification needs to do the HP exam(s). There are four different tracks in the certification. There can be different exams for the different tracks.
For example:
· The exam that is required is the ASE - HP OpenView Application Management - UNIX [2005] track is the HP HP0-345 HP OpenView Operations (OVO) II 8.x UNIX exam.
· The exam that is required is the ASE - ProCurve Networking [2005] track is the HP HP0-790 HP ProCurve Routing Switch Essentials v5.21 exam.
· The exam that is required is the ASE - HP StorageWorks Nearline Storage track is the HP HP0-771 Designing & Implementing HP Enterprise Backup Solutions exam.
The language medium in which the exams are done is English.
Recertification:
The successful Accredited System Engineer student will hold the FileMaker 7 Certified Developer certification indefinitely.
