Citrix CCA 4.0
The CCA 4.0 certification is an excellent credential to have in the Information and Technology sphere, whether you are a system administrator, a Citrix reseller or affiliate, or even an independent consultant. Special focus on the skills and knowledge foundation that is required to successfully support an existing implementation of an existing implementation of Citrix products forms the main part of the certification program.
CCA 4.0 Certification Requirements
It is important to note that Citrix Solution Advisor (CSA) requirements pertaining to certification differ for each region. At first the CCA for Citrix MetaFrame Access Suite 3.0 was primarily focused on Citrix Presentation Server with some emphasis on additional products. - Citrix Certified Administrator for Citrix NetScaler 8.0
Unfortunately development also has another side: stagnation. Thus it means that the Citric Certification named CCA 3.0 is no longer attainable. The certifications however, still remain valid.
CCA 4.0 CCA for Citrix Presentation Server 4
To achieve this particular certification there are some steps that has to be followed.
Taking the designated Online Citrix course: (i) CTX-1455CW Citrix Common Management Platform 4.5: Administration OR (ii) CTX-1455AW Citrix Access Suite 4.0: Common Management Platform Administration and passing the assessment at the end of the course.
You should also pass the 259 Citrix Presentation Server 4.5: Administration examination.
Recommended Citrix Certification training: One should have knowledge of the CTX-1255AW Citrix Presentation Server 4.0: Architectural Overview, and CTX-1259AI Citrix Presentation Server 4.5: Administration training programs. There are several free online Citrix quick study, Citrix study guides and even Citrix video study guides available.
CCA 4.0 CCA for Citrix Password Manager 4
To achieve this particular certification there are some steps that has to be followed. These steps are:
The designated Online Citrix course namely CTX-1455CW Citrix Common Management Platform 4.5: Administration OR alternatively CTX-1455AW Citrix Access Suite 4.0: Common Management Platform Administration has to be taken and the assessment given at the end of the course must be passed.
In addition you should also pass the following examination: 327 Citrix Password Manager 4.5 Administration, OR alternatively: 326 Citrix Password Manager 4.0: Administration
Recommended Citrix Certification training: One should have knowledge of the CTX-1325AW Citrix Password Manager 4.0: Architectural Overview, and (Or CTX-1326AI Citrix Password Manager 4.0: Administration) training programs.
CCA 4.0 CCA for Citrix Access Gateway 4
To achieve this Citrix certification there are some steps that has to be followed. These steps are:
The designated Online Citrix course CTX-1307BW Citrix Access Gateway 4.5: Administration OR CTX-1307AW Citrix Access Gateway 4.1: Administration and the assessment must be passed.
You should also pass the 308 Citrix Access Gateway 4.5 Advanced Edition: Administration examination.
Recommended Citrix Certification training: One should have knowledge of the CTX-1305AW Citrix Access Gateway 4.2 with Advanced Access Control: Architectural Overview, and CTX-1308AI Citrix Access Gateway 4.5 Advanced Edition: Administration training programs.
CCA 4.0 CCA for Citrix NetScaler 8.0
You should do the designated Online Citrix course and pass the 731 Citrix NetScaler 8.0: Administration examination.
Recommended Citrix Certification training: One should have knowledge of the CTX-1730AICitrix NetScaler 8.0: Basic Operations and CTX-1731AI Citrix NetScaler 8.0: Administration training programs.
In addition to the recommended Citrix training there is also online Citrix certification courses and Citrix discussion forums that will aid a great deal in preparing oneself for the Citrix exams.

These are obtainable when you access your Candidate Record in Certification Manager and click Get Logos in the left-hand column. Select the appropriate logo and file format, then follow the download instructions.
At present there are no skills update paths offered by Citrix, but the possibility is not completely ruled out for the future.
