The IBM Certified Associate Developer certification is available to students who have the required knowledge for the IBM CAD certification and has product knowledge and experience with IBM Rational Web Developer for WebSphere Software V6.0 or IBM Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software V6.0.
Required Exams:
To be awarded the IBM Certified Associate Developer certification, the IBM Certified Associate Developer student must successfully pass one. This exam is the:-
ยท 000-255 Developing with IBM Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software V6.0 exam.
This exam has a difficulty rating of about 3 out of 5. it is thus only a moderately difficult exam. This exam is only available in English.
Recertification:
The successful IBM Certified Associate Developer student will hold the IBM Certified Associate Developer certification for a limited period. Once the certification has expired the IBM Certified Associate Developer student must re-validate their IBM Certified Associate Developer certification. The student can do this by retaking and passing the current CAD exams.
