Description:
The Sun Certified Enterprise Architect (SCEA) certification from Sun Certification was established in 2001. This Sun Certified Enterprise Architect (SCEA) certification is aimed at students who are currently responsible for architecting and designing Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) technology compliant applications, which are scalable, flexible and highly secure.
The Sun Certified Enterprise Architect certification certifies that a successful Sun Certified Enterprise Architect has learnt the knowledge needed to architects responsible for architecting and designing. The successful Sun Certified Enterprise Architect student will have knowledge of using the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) technology.
Prerequisites:
The certification consists of three elements: a knowledge-based multiple choice exam, an assignment and essay exam.
Required Exams:
To be awarded the Sun Certified Enterprise Architect certification, the Sun Certified Enterprise Architect student must successfully pass three steps. The steps that the students should pass are:-
· Step 1 - Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition - Mulitple Choice exam (CX-310-051)
· Step 2 - Sun Certified
· Step 3 - Sun Certified
The exam has a difficulty rating of about 2 out of 5 and is thus only a moderately easy exam. This exam is only available in English
Recertification:
The successful Sun Certified Enterprise Architect student will hold the Sun Certified Enterprise Architect certification indefinitely.
