The Teradata Certified Administrators V2R5 certification certifies that a successful Teradata Certified Administrators V2R5 has learnt the knowledge needed to set up, maintain and troubleshoot a Teradata database in a production environment.
The successful Teradata Certified Administrators V2R5 certified candidate will have knowledge of:-
· Teradata database concepts
· Creating objects
· System and query performance
· Space management
· Security
· System parameters and
· Database utilities.
The Teradata Certified Administrators V2R5 certification is only available to students who have 6-12 months working with Teradata V2R5 technology. The candidates should have 18+ months’ hands-on experience with Teradata databases and applications as well as 6-12 months hands-on experience with Teradata database administration.
Required Exams:
To be awarded the Teradata Certified Administrators V2R5 certification, the Teradata Certified Administrators V2R5 candidate must successfully pass three exams. The three examinations that the candidates must pass are:-
· The Teradata NR0-011 Teradata Basics V2R5
· The Teradata NR0-012 Teradata Physical Implementation V2R5 and
· The Teradata NR0-014 Teradata Administration V2R5 exam.
These exams have a difficulty rating of about 3 out of 5 and are thus only moderately difficult exams. The exams are only available in English.
Recertification:
A successful Teradata Certified Administrators V2R5 candidate will hold the Teradata Certified Administrators V2R5 certification indefinitely.
