Prerequisites:
The Teradata Certified Implementation Specialists V2R5 certification is only available to candidates who have 6-12 months working with Teradata V2R5 technology. The candidates should have 18+ months’ hands-on experience with Teradata databases and applications as well as 6-12 months hands-on experience with Teradata database administration.
Required Exams:
To be awarded the Teradata Certified Implementation Specialists V2R5 certification, the Teradata Certified Implementation Specialists V2R5 candidate must successfully pass two exams. The two exams that the candidate must pass are:-
· The Teradata NR0-011 Teradata Basics V2R5 (TCIS V2R5) exam and
· The Teradata NR0-012 Teradata Physical Implementation V2R5 (TCIS V2R5) exam.
These exams have a difficulty rating of about 3 out of 5 and are thus only a moderately difficult exam. The exams are only available in English.
Recertification:
The successful Teradata Certified Implementation Specialists V2R5 candidate will hold the Teradata Certified Implementation Specialists V2R5 certification indefinitely.
