One of the leading certification vendors in the information technology field is TIA. This, TIA certifications is designed for students who have convergence skills that are now required to sell, install and maintain products from the leading manufacturers and suppliers in convergent technologies.
Certification Levels:
The TIA Certifications are available at two levels:-
· Convergence Technologies Professional (CTP) certification was developed for convergence equipment manufacturers, their channel partners and their end customers.
· Certified in Convergent Network Technologies (CCNT) certificate program was developed for telcos and other network service providers providing convergence services.
Certification Paths:
The TIA certification covers one different career path. This TIA certification offers one different certification tract. The student can match their certification track to their job role or industry.
The one TIA certification tracks are:-
· Network convergence which consists of the CCNT followed by the CTP.
Recertification:
Recertification is a key feature of TIA certification. The TIA Certification student will only hold the TIA certification for two years, in the case of TIA certifications, and three years only, in the case of Associate and Professional certifications.
After this period the student must re-validate their TIA certification. The student can do this by retaking and passing the relevant certification exam(s), or by taking and passing the TIA exam(s) at a higher certification level.
