The Teradata Certified Professional Program is focused on advancing the growth of Teradata knowledge and skills to a worldwide IT professional community. The Teradata industry standard certification testing program measures and validates technical abilities that are used to help customers, partners, and associates take advantage of Teradata's powerful technology throughout their business.
Certification Levels:
Teradata Certifications are available at three levels. The three levels are:-
· Entry Level, which has one path: Teradata Certified Professional (TCP)
· Intermediate Level, which has two paths Teradata Certified Implementation Specialist (TCIS), and Teradata Certified SQL Specialist (TCSS)
· Master Level, which has three paths Teradata Certified Application Developer, Teradata Certified Design Architect, Teradata Certified Administrator.
Certification Paths:
The Teradata certification covers three different career paths. This Teradata certification offers three different certification tracts. The student can match their certification tracks to their job role or industry.
The three Teradata certification tracks are:
· Administrator which consists of the TCP followed by the TCIS and TCA.
· Design Architect which consists of the TCP, TCIS, TCSS and TCDA
· Application Developer which consists of the TCP, TCSS and TCAD
Specialization Certification
In addition, Teradata also offers specialist certification in specific technology areas. These technological areas are:
· Teradata Certified Implementation Specialist Certifications
· Teradata Certified SQL Specialist Certifications
Recertification:
Recertification is not a key feature of Teradata certification. A successful Teradata Certification student will hold the Teradata certification for eternity.
