Description:
The Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification from HP Certification was established in 2001. This Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is intended for candidates who are presently employed in the Enterprise Network environments. This Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is also for candidates who aspire to find employment in this environment and wants to obtain the Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
The candidate who passes the Certified System Administrator certification will certify that a successful Certified System Administrator has learnt the knowledge need to design, support and integrate platform, operating system, storage as well as the network and option components to solve business needs.
The successful Certified System Administrator certified candidate will have knowledge of the hands-on installation, configuration, and the administration and support of HP operating systems in networked environments.
These are all fields in the Enterprise Network environments. The Certified System Administrator certification is only available to students who have 6 to 12 months experience. The candidates should have experience in the design, support and integrate platform, operating system, storage as well as the network and option components to solve business needs.
Required Exams:
The candidate who wants to achieve the CSA certification needs to do the HP exam(s). There are different tracks in the certification. There can be different exams for the different tracks.
For example:
· The exam that is required is the CSA - HP-UX v11 track is the HP HP0-091 HP-UX System Administration UNIX exam.
· The exam that is required is the CSA - HP Tru64 UNIX v5 track is the HP HP0-601 Tru64 UNIX v5 System Administration, Support, and Integration exam.
· The exam that is required is the CSA - HP OpenVMS v8 track is the HP HP0-081 OpenVMS System Administration exam.
The language medium in which the exams are done is English.
Recertification:
The Certified System Administrator certification will be held by the successful Certified System Administrator candidate indefinitely.
